High Lead Response

When a high lead or copper result is found in a residential test, DEQ, DHHS, and community members conduct personalized follow up visits.

Staff conduct these follow-up visits within 48 hours of receiving notification of results showing lead concentrations of over 150 ppb or 1,300 ppb copper; and within 7 days of notification of lead concentration results between 100 and 150 ppb.

Just like any service, our goal is to be on time.

Metric: Goal is 100% on time

Note: All reporting periods after March 2017 required that lead results over 100 ppb require a 3-day response.
